Why Start? Why Now?

I have spent the last 20 years of life in the marketing arena gaining a wide variety of experiences. I have put on small grower meetings to large international marketing conferences. I have developed the structure of numerous websites to being a part of an elite team which developed the structure for an international brand website. I have put together small focus groups and went overseas to be a part of an insight team focusing on new product development. I have developed customer service programs to starting up a new division at an international company aimed at retaining customers. I have given presentations to small business owners and spoke to audiences of over 500 people explaining a new branding concept. I have been a member of many marketing associations and have been President of the American Marketing Association. I have worked locally and I have commuted. I have worked on the client side and I have worked at an agency. I have been blessed to have been exposed to so much.

I took a year off from the marketing world to help small business owners develop or enhance their employee benefits programs by offering supplemental benefits from Aflac. However, I always felt like something for me was missing. I love marketing. I love helping people. I love learning about customers and helping businesses communicate and build relationships with potential and existing customers. Yes, I even love how social media can move the needle when implemented correctly.

After some deep soul searching and several conversations with many people who’s opinions I deeply value…I decided to do what I am passionate about, providing marketing expertise to small business owners as an alternative to high-priced agencies. Small business owners have some unique challenges and with a strong integrated plan and creativity, together we can move that “needle”.

So, in addition to the employee programs that I have helped business owners put into place (and will continue to do so), I am now expanding my services to include marketing. Everything I do is aimed at recruiting and retaining both customers and employees. I am looking forward to the challenges and the opportunities.
